3 door metal folding crate

48" Three Doors Dog Pet Bed House Folding Metal Crate Cage Kennel with Free Divider

This is great! I am using it to house a mother cat and her kitten. This gives them plenty of room and allows me to keep a litter pan in there - also food dishes can be put in and taken out easily because of the front door and side door. The metal floor is a plus for me since it doesn't make noise and is easy to clean.

"Great" cage!

I got this cage to house train a puppy we are about to get in a few days. The pup is only going to get as large as 30 pounds but I figured if the chance is that I either sell or keep it a larger one would be best in the end.
When receiving the box: it was heavy, large, and flat. The packaging was in great shape considering the weight. Taking it out of the box it was folded and clamped shut. I unclamped the cage and popped it up with ease. The ends were in the bottom and had to be brought up and wahlah it was up and going. Now time for the free divider. Yes getting it snapped in to place was a bit hard to do but I am reassured that no pup will get past this divider. Even only having a third of it closed off it was still quite roomy enough for me to get fully inside: I am small though. I later decided to change the space size and found it almost impossible to take it apart and move it. Well I know if I am having a pain to get it to move, a puppy surely won't have a chance. Yes the slide latch do kind of stick but nothing a bit of olive oil can fix. The bottom I noticed is easy to remove for cleaning and yes the handle that comes with it is a joke. Maybe if it was built with some kind of grab handles on the top sides on every side it would be nice. But I don't really plan to pick it up and move it. I am much to short for that task.
I would like to find something to put on the bottom so if the pup does go potty, it won't spread to the side that is not being used. I would like this so I could store food and extra things like paper, toys and etcetera. Over all I do have to say I like it and will find it nice.

Awesome product, Great price, NOT disappointed!!!

This kennel is a great deal. Awesome price (which you already know if you have dogs that need to be kenneled). That's probably why you came to amazon to find one in the first place. Triple the price for something this big at a local dealer. LOOOOOOOVE the metal pan!!! Kudos to the intelligent being who decided to make THAT design change. Especially since the price to replace one costs about the same as this ENTIRE KENNEL!! The metal pan is a bit noisy. HOWEVER, if you put an old bath towel underneath, between the pan and the inside rails of the kennel (happens to be a perfect fit) it completely solves the issue. The only other issue I have is that if my dogs are bouncing off the walls of the kennel occasionally it can come unfastened on one side causing the short wall to collapse inside. Again, easily remedied with some tie wraps, or even bread ties would do. The feature that comes undone is the same thing that allows you to be able to collapse it easily. Definently not a deal breaker for me since the price is well worth it and i have had worse problems with other, more expensive products that didn't have this much versatility. I see alot of people complain about the latches. All you have to do is lift up on the latch hard enough to raise the door slightly (not hard... at all) and the latch will work with ease. If you've ever had a dog escape when you THOUGHT he was kenneled.... you will not mind the added security. Keeps the dog from being able to "wiggle" the door open. The divider is a huge bonus for me cause i put my pit bull on the big side and let him in using one door and put our small puppy on the other and let him in on the other side. (I make one side bigger than the other which I find very versatile) Works like a charm!! Other than that the kennel arrived early, in great condition, well packaged, and took me literally 5 min to unpack AND assemble. Just can't beat this deal.... Great product....Great price. Not to mention.... my dogs love their new home!!! Now THAT'S PRICELESS!!!

48" Three Doors Dog Folding Metal Crate w/ Divider

The kennel arrived very quickly and was well packaged. The 48" size was perfect for our growing golden retriever puppy. The metal tray in the bottom of the crate is much sturdier than the plastic trays I have seen. The wire on the cage is not as heavy duty as others. The free divider was great. It allowed us to expand the size of the crate as our puppy grew. My one frustration is the lack of ease with which the latches fasten and unfasten.

great dog crate!

I purchased 5 of these HUGE crates. They were delivered within a week to my door at a price I could not beat! These crate have door handles with a "lip" to keep door closed and has THREE doors. The best part is they have a METAL pan. I am tired of those plastic ones breaking and costing a fortune to replace! If you have high energy dogs that bang and jump inside the crates all the time, these may not be for you as they may "unhook" at the places where the sides hook to the front and rear. (I have pretty calm Bernese Mtn dogs.) These crates are heavy (which is good) but you really need two people if you take them for travel. They only give you one carry handle...really should have two for this size crate.
