Good, but Huge!This product was great, it was just really big. Well made and it was comfortable to wear as a backpack, and rolled nicely on wheels. I don't think this product would fit under any airplane seat. My 15lb shihtzu was not big enough to need this much space though. We returned it and got the Pet Gear I-Go2 for dogs up to 20 lbs and it is a much better fit, and I think it will probably fit under an airplane seat.Pet Gear TravelerI had a backpack from another company before, before the squirrels made garbage out of it. This one, however, far surpasses that first one. I was pleased with it when I took it out of the package, and I was even more pleased when I put my little, aged Corgi inside and strapped it on.. The added extras are the ability to use it as a carriage and also a car seat: an excellent buy.Roomy but plastic parts inferiorEven though this was bigger than I thought, it is great for taking my dog to the vet, etc. I have a 9+ pound pomeranian and he had plenty of room to stand up, turn around, and lay down. The item arrived with the plastic brace across the back completely broken. The vendor promptly contacted me and sent a replacement immmediately (great customer service). The replacement had a crack in one of the front support feet, but it was something that I could live with. The manufacturer needs to upgrade the plastic used in the construction. For that price, the plastic should be able to withstand shipping. Can't imagine what would happen in an airport environment.Excellent product, to big for air craftreally like the product, but since it won't fit under the seat in front of you it is not as useful as I had hoped. Of course having a smaller dog (I have a 20lb pug), would have allowed for a smaller carrier. Either case it is really nice.My cats love itMy cats absolutely love this carrier. The mesh allows them to see everything and it is big enough. They don't like being squished into tight space when they are nervous, for example, when it's time for a vet visit, but this carrier makes them feel comfortable and they stopped meowing all along! I can easily strap it on the seat belt of the front seat. The box could be a bit stronger if it is used over a longer period of time but so far so good. I also appreciate the fact that the carrier is available in black, not like pink as most of the other carriers, to give it a cooler feel, especially when I take them to work. |
