Dog Training CollarCollar works very well for a $100.00 collar. Dog responds well and listens to me instead of paying attention to everything else. Did exactly what I bought it for.Sleeping through the night again :-)This product works quite well. Having the 3 options, tone only, and then two stimulus levels handy all at once is quite useful. Our intended use was for overnight barking, but we have used it here and there for other behaviors as well. The only thing we noticed is that overnight it ends up off when we go to remove it in the morning. The on/off button needs to be more recessed - as what we think is happening is that when the dog lays down on something it is being pushed, thus, being turned off.Great buyI have had this trainer for about a month in a half now and I love it. It comes with a onwers manual and do your dog a favor and read the whole thing first. This trainer can be a great tool with used properly. I bought the trainer becasue my male rottie wouldn't listen when he wanted to mark. I would call him and he would just ignore me and contine to mark. Now all I have to do is call him and if he ignores I use the beep function. I hardly every have to use the shock function.Simple to use at fair priceI have been using this Collar for the past three years. I have used it to train my Golden Retriever to manage behavior. It has worked extremely well and has lasted until today when the controller button came off and can not be repaired. As a result I have placed an order for a new unit today. I especially like the two button option with one button used for a variable shock and the other to make a low hiss with no shock. One trained with the shock I never need to use the shock button and only use the noise "hiss" sound to gain her attention. I would have given it a 5 star if the controller button did not fail although it has worked well for three past years on a daily use.Good product, simple to use, good price, and I recommend this for anyone attempting to train their dog for specific behaviors.SportDOG - SportDOG Stubborn Dog Yard Trainer Miracle Worker!My dog is normally off the wall, and does not listen AT ALL. Just think of "Marley and Me"...he's that dog haha. I bought this collar and took him out in public with no leash..just the collar, and he listened SO well. He stayed right by my side the entire time and did not bother anyone. I didn't even have to use the shock button...I just use the beep sound and he comes right to me. This product is a life saver. |
