User Reviews

it is a large dog crate with a plastic pan

we have a 50 pound one year old boxer that the plastic pan broke in half the first time we used the cage. why would you place a rather thin plastic pan in a dog crate. it will cost more to ship the cage back, and stupid to pay for a replacemnt pan that breaks in a dog crate. Very dipappointed in this product. do not buy,,,,

Great Purchase and Price

I love this crate, solid construction, arrived earlier than expected. Plenty of room for my 26lb mixed breed.

Great crate!

This is the perfect size for my lab. It was a great price and brand new. It was shipped quickly and had it within a week. Thanks!

Unsafe for pet & disappointing quality

When I received this product, I removed it from the box and immediately threw the box away in the local dumpster. Big mistake! After setting it up 2 days later, I discovered that the plastic pan was cracked but still functional. I had been very pleased with a similar product previously puchased from Walmart (ASPCA), but in a smaller size. Since my 4 month old Border Collie puppy was growing quickly, I definately needed to upsize her crate. An experienced vets assistant helped me with the first assembly. The retainer locks seemed flimsy and proved to not hold the ends together. The puppy easily escaped from its confinement in less than 5 minutes. I am now using plastic electrical ties to keep the pieces together. As you can tell, I am still sorry that I threw the box away and wish that I had explored the gauge of metal & construction in more detail. The double doors and the carrying handle are useful considerations.

WARNING: Crate Injured My Dog!!

I do love this crate, however the hooks and edges are very sharp. Today I took the divider panel out so I could collapse the crate to give to friend who is watching my puppy while I'm out of town. I leaned the panel against the bedroom door and my puppy came up to investigate. As she backed up, a hook went COMPLETELY THROUGH HER EYELID. After a couple seconds of her screaming in pain I managed to get her calm enough to careful slide the hook back out and rush her to the vet. Fortunately the hook did not injure her eye but she has a bloody gash in her eyelid and it's very swollen. She's going to have to be on antibiotics for the next week. Vet visit cost $120, half of which was for the emergency status of the visit and the other half for the antibiotics. The hooks need to be rounded off or filed down.
