Like putting your pup in a plastic bagI was so excited when I found this item. My dog is 11 years old and only weighs 13 pounds. She loves to be carried, wrapped up in my sweater with only her head poking out - - kind of like a baby kangaroo. When I saw this item I thought it would be perfect for her, and leave my hands free. It says it is for dogs up to 20 pounds...PLUS it is pink and so cute. When it arrived I put it on, then put my furbaby in the carrier. It was too short to cover her little body and too much of her was poking out of the top. She was too afraid she would fall to really relax, because the bottom does not stay firm, it was like putting her in a plastic grocery bag. PLUS, the carrier did not stay put, it slid down my body and I felt like I had to hold her anyway - - NOT leaving my hands free afterall. I am very disappointed, but I think if you have a VERY small dog, it would work better. If anyone wants one for free, I will ship it to you if you pay shipping.Not really...I thought I would try this for my 14 lb pekinegse mix. It wasn't supportive enough for her weight and she was super nervous based on the bottom being unsupportive. Maybe it was a user mal-function but I couldnt get her to look like the picture. The bottom would sag down and she would almost fall out! Without completely closing her in there was no way she was comfortable in there. Too bad, the construction was durable, just poor design for my size dog.okits okay. i wish you would have told me the size before ordering, cause i ordered it for my rat terrier who weighs about 4-5lbs. so i was a litle disappointed it was too bigbut i use it anyway.i love this except it needs to be larger. my chihuahua is now 6.6 lbs., i do not know what size was shipped to me .oh my " lil muffin-cake" loves her peek-a boo carrier except our one problem is she needs the next largest size. however i can not tell from my order which size i recieved.any assistance will be most appreciated. and if you wish to take this back it is ok, or i can keep it. i just need the largest size in pink that you have so she can lay down inside. thank you so much for wonderful long lasting products. my other chihuahua has had a raincoat from your company for 10 years, she totally loves it and hit has held up beautifully. which is why i searched out only your products when we were blessed with muffin-cake. sincerely steve and marilu blum 6630 fm 2538 marion tx 78124 [...] pet front carrieri love it. bought it and sling for my chihuahua and minature daschund.i believe for price and quality you are getting a great deal |
