Ordered 1 month ago, still not shippedLike two of the last three reviewers, I ordered this some time ago. In my case May 8th, and I'm writing this on June 8th. It still hasn't shipped. No information regarding the delay. I'm very frustrated, as it seems that it's very difficult to find these locally. I'm a little concerned because Teafco's site lists them as out of stock for the Large and many of the Small sizes. I'm likely going to cancel and choose something else. However, I wish Amazon would do something other than just change the estimated date to delivery.An amazing pet carrierI currently own two of these pet carriers. One smaller sized, and the larger sized.The large size works for cats up to about 15 or 16 lbs. The smaller up to about 13. Anything over that and you're pretty much stuffing your pet into a piece of luggage and sitting on it to zip it closed. Which really isn't an ideal situation for you, or the pet... Especially if they have claws. The windows are small, but available so that your pet can feel somewhat safe in the enclosure unlike the all-screen zip-up models. The carrier is durable, the screens are flexible, and the pockets are convenient for storing treats, medications, or even a leash. Every time I have taken one of my cats to the vet in one of these carriers I have received comments from the vets about how amazingly nice and well built the carrier is. This is across three different veterinary offices, and they all notice the carrier and comment. The only drawback I've seen is that the sides and bottom padding (removable) are made of shiny vinyl plastic that claws can really chew up if your pet easily stresses out and is desperately trying to get out of the carrier. Mine so far have a few simple puncture holes in them, and at some point I will likely build some sort of cloth wrapping to keep them from doing further damage. If you're looking to transport your pet in style, this really is the carrier for you. If you don't care that your pet is bouncing around inside a large hard-sided case, or you're just cheap when it comes to your pets? This isn't the carrier you're looking for (waves hand), you don't need to buy the Teafco Argo Aer-Pet carrier. still waiting.....I'm having the same issue as the last reviewer...It's been almost 3 weeks since I ordered this carrier and it has not been shipped yet....what's going on???Did anyone else have problems with promptness of this item being shipped?I am disappointed that carrier has not even been shipped yet after ordering it almost 2 weeks ago. I wanted to take my time and do research to make sure I bought the right item the first time, but still need time to get our dog used to it. It was supposed to be delivered by April 19th at the latest but the item has not even shipped, they pushed the delivery estimate to between April 23, 2010 - May 3, 2010 and when I clicked the item for details so I could contact the seller it says "Not Shipped Delivery Estimate April 30, 2010 - May 14, 2010." We are leaving for our trip on May 12th now I am scrambling to either talk to someone with Teafco or find another carrier. Did anyone else have a problem with the item shipping? Any suggestions? Thank you!I gave it one star because I have to give it something to post this. very happyWe needed to move our animals cross country and after searching to find a carrier to fit under Southwest's airplane seats, we decided upon this one. It was wonderful! While it was a bit more expensive than the others we considered, the carrier was sturdy and we will be able to use it many more times. It is solidly constructed and gave our cat a real sense of security. And most importantly, it fit perfectly under the seats. We are very happy with this purchase! |
