Good product

This is a replacement collar for an in ground electric dog fence. The product is great. Just wish it were waterproof so it would last longer.

Back in Business

We had to replace our old collar after 4 years because the dog had tooo much fun in two feet of snow. I guess it shorted out. They aren't waterproof. Anyway received the new one quickly, put it on, and - no more walking the dog:) He is very well behaved when this thing is on.

Just what I ordered

I have bought many of these over the years and this works just as well as all the others. Great price by the way.

Zap Zap, dog still lives here!!

It does what it is designed to do, after my group of dogs had gotten together and distroyed the orginal one, I replaced it with this one. Under ground fences are great, if you follow the directions (Yes put up the flags for a couple of weeks). It keeps our boxers home, She has only gotten zapped twice and that was enough. If I was to pick on one thing, it would be that I never know when the battery is dead, but neither does the dog, so we both just wonder. Other dogs still come and visit the yard, but that does not do much in our neck of the woods. Generally my dogs just plays with them. I would recommend this method for friendly dogs and a big fence for the not so friendly ones.

Good as a fence, but goes off randomly while inside

This is the second replacement we've gotten and it seems all of them just go off randomly. Not good when you are trying to train the dogs, but at least it only seems to happen when we're inside. So just make sure that you remove the collars when you let the dogs into the house because they will get zapped for no reason.
