convenient kibble storagepurchased 2 of these as we buy 40lb bags of kibble for our dogs. glad i ordered the 60lb stackable vaults as our dog kibble would not fit into the 40lb vaults. all-in-all quite convenient. not hard to open.I'll never know.I'll never know whether this was a good product or not. The idiots (Vittles Vault) sent me a mattress cover instead of the container. Then I tried to leave seller feedback and because I had already returned the item, I could not. This is my compromise.Great for long term storage alsoBeing stackable, and fairly volumous, these are also great to store items for extended periods. I actually own six of these and use them to store some of my camping gear and clothes. The gamma seal is a well tested and used design. It's also easy to find replacement lids if you happen to somehow damage yours. With the angled openings also, it's easy to get into each of the containers without having everything else spill all over the floor as your search. The description doesn't state it, but based on the mottled color of the containers, I think it might also be composed of recycled plastics (at least other recycled containers I have show the same mottled pattern). Again, no way to know...and Amazon has a very limited description for this product.Vittles 60-Pound ContainerThis is a great storage container. I own both the 60-pound and the smaller 40-pound containers which I have stacked. The only issue I ran into was my puppy was able to get her head into the bin because it is so low to the ground. It's really not a big deal, you just need to be aware of it, if your dogs are chow hounds. They really keep the food sealed up great. I use EVO salmon and red herring and it really smells. My other food container never sealed all the way and we had to keep the food in the garage because of the smell. With these containers we can keep them in the house because they seal so tightly no odors escape. If I get more then 3 dogs I will be purchasing another one of these containers.Great product!Easy to open, airtight seal. Just have the one, not sure how stacking them would work if the top one held any weight. |
