Great productThis is a great carrier, I purchased it after I had to return the Cayman 1 and although I liked the Cayman 1 it was not big enough. Although the dimensions and size are a little off, the carrier is very sturdy, easy to put together, airline approved. I found it was great and my dog did not even mind being put into it. I measured my dog and after purchasing and returning the Cayman 1, I found that you have to purchase the size up. It is usually only a difference of a few dollars but it, you won't have to return it and your pet wil much more comfortable. It is also very light weightSolid Carrier, Doesn't Fit My Large CatI have a problem finding a good carrier for my extra large cat (20 lbs.). On one hand I don't want one that is so huge I can't carry it, but on the other hand I don't want to squish him into a tiny little box where he feels uncomfortable.This carrier is nice and solid, and can certainly hold his weight without feeling like its going to break, but it just isn't tall enough for him. He can lay down, but he just can't sit up. I will keep this one for short trips in the carrier (like to the vet), but I don't think any cat larger than 12 lbs will really want to spend very much time in it at all. Easy to Assemble Good ValueWhile the carrier's instructions do not look like much, there are really not a lot of parts. It can be assembled in five minutes if you look at the five clips and see where to snap in the plastic piece in the clip's slot. There is no other logical place to put them. The door is simply line up two holes.There are predrilled holes to add screws (you need to supply) if you are going to expose the carrier to rough handling. If you are going to stay in control of the carrier then the five snap on clips will work fine. Anything in a pet store is expensive. so the price is good. The only downside I had is the handle was missing. Called the manufacturer it was I had it two days later. They even answer the phone promptly!
